Amba Ghat is a mountain pass on Ratnagiri-Kolhapur road in Maharashtra, India, at a height of 3000 ft above sea-level, This ghat lies in the Sahyadri mountain ranges and has picturesque mountain-scapes and a pleasant climate.

We becomes crazy as Monsoon arrives, and get ready to splash in rain, in monsoon season, we mumbaikar are always ready, and waiting if someone ask, let’s go for long drive. and start hunting the various monsoon destination around.

Malshet Ghat and Tiger Point Lonavala are famous, favourite and nearest points from mumbai and pune, for our Mumbaikar and punekar. This season will be even more beautiful views of nature, and there are many Monsoon Destinations all over India.

The location Amba Ghat is quite well known for its beautiful natural surrounding and pleasant cool weather. This is the reason large number of national and international tourists are visiting this tourist centre almost in every season.
There are a considerable number of places worth visiting and tourists feel a special pleasure of plucking and eating fruits like java plums or rose-apples.

Monsoon is the time when guests arrive for an experience of the area around Amba Ghat which turns misty and there are many waterfalls which one can make ones own for a few hours.
Amba Ghat is a forested area on Kolhapur – Ratnagiri state highway. The area is surrounded by Dajipur Bison Sanctuary and is renowned for its hornbill population and wide ranging birds.
